Hiking safety tips for men or women
Women are dissapearing at an alarming rate while in the activity of hiking. It would be practical and prudent for women who plan a hiking trip alone or with others, to obtain a tracking device that can be attached in her hair. Let someone know where you are going and when you will be back and have them monitor the device. State and Fedral parks could rent them, and monotor them. Skiing Resorts do it in case of avalanches. Always cary a GPS to prevent getting lost, pepper spray, a whistle, cell phone. There is no such thing as being to well prepared. |
